The puck is about to drop on a whole new car wash experience in Rosemount, MN.
Bar Down Express Car Wash is coming to 2550 149th St. West, bringing together a high-quality express car wash, modern convenience, free amenities, and the excitement of Minnesota hockey. We’re building a place where getting your car clean feels less like another errand and more like a win.
So, What Does “Bar Down” Mean?
If you’re a hockey fan, you probably know the sound.
“Bar down” refers to a shot that hits the crossbar and drops into the net. It is one of those hockey moments that just feels right.
That idea helped inspire the Bar Down name and our approach to car washing. Brothers Paul and Luke Anderson combined their love of hockey, family values, and community to create a car wash experience with its own personality.
Hockey is built into our brand, from our logo and teammates to the experience we’re creating inside the wash. But you certainly do not need to know hockey to join the fun. At the end of the day, our goal is to give every Rosemount driver a great clean and an experience worth coming back for.
Car Washing With Game-Day Energy
Bar Down is an express car wash first, and we’re putting plenty of thought into making that experience stand out.
One of the highlights will be our immersive tunnel light show. Stay in your vehicle as you move through the wash and enjoy a colorful, energetic experience designed to make wash day more fun for adults and kids alike.
It is part of our bigger vision to make Bar Down a car wash that Rosemount families actually look forward to visiting.
More Than a Trip Through the Tunnel
Once the wash is over, you can finish strong with complimentary amenities designed to make caring for your vehicle even more convenient.
Bar Down plans to offer free vacuums in a spacious vacuum area, free towel usage, free window cleaner, and free air guns. Our wash experience also includes features such as hand prep, premium wash options, Graphene Coating on our top wash, and a water reclaim system.
Everything works toward one goal: making it easier to leave Bar Down with a vehicle that looks and feels ready for the road.
Meet the Season Ticket Membership
Want to make clean-car days part of your regular lineup?
Our car wash membership is getting the Bar Down treatment. We call our members Season Ticket Members.
Season Ticket Memberships are designed to give Rosemount drivers an easier and more valuable way to wash regularly. Members will enjoy recurring monthly access to their selected wash, a dedicated VIP “Breakaway” lane, convenient automatic billing, and online membership management.
It is a car wash convenience with a home-ice advantage.
Built for Minnesota Seasons
Minnesota gives your vehicle plenty of opponents throughout the year.
Summer brings bugs that collect across your grille, hood, windshield, and headlights. Winter brings road salt, slush, and grime.
That is why regular car washing will be at the heart of what we do. Bar Down is being built to help Rosemount drivers stay ready for whatever season is on the schedule.
Rosemount Is Our Home Ice
Bar Down is a local, family-owned business, and being part of the community is an important piece of our game plan.
Our vision extends beyond washing cars. We want to support local organizations, fundraising opportunities, community initiatives, and the hockey culture that makes our area special.
Our five core values guide that mission: Fun, Quality, Commitment, Integrity, and Innovation. Together, they represent the kind of business and car wash experience we want to build here in Rosemount.
Get Ready for Puck Drop
We’re excited to bring Bar Down Express Car Wash to Rosemount and introduce our community to a different kind of wash experience.
A championship clean. A tunnel light show. Free amenities. Season Ticket Memberships. Minnesota hockey energy. And a local team ready to raise the bar.
We’re just getting started.
