Do you offer interior detailing or full-service cleaning?
No. Bar Down focuses on delivering a high-quality express exterior car wash. After your wash, complimentary self-service amenities make it easy to freshen up your vehicle's interior.
Do you hand prep vehicles?
Yes. Hand prep is part of the Bar Down experience, giving your vehicle extra attention before it heads through the tunnel.
What free amenities do you offer?
With a car wash purchase or as a member, customers can take advantage of complimentary amenities including:
- Free vacuums with unlimited use in a spacious vacuum area
- Free towel usage
- Free window cleaner
- Free air guns
These amenities make it easy to finish your clean before getting back on the road.
What is the Bar Down tunnel light show?
Our tunnel is designed to make getting your car washed part of the fun. Bar Down's light show adds an immersive visual experience to your trip through the wash, giving kids, families, and hockey fans another reason to enjoy wash day.
Is Bar Down an eco-friendly car wash?
Water conservation is part of our approach. Bar Down utilizes a water reclaim system as part of its express car wash operation.
What is Graphene Coating?
Available on our top wash, Graphene Coating is a premium feature planned for Bar Down's top wash. It adds an elevated level of vehicle protection and shine for customers looking to get the most from their wash.
Should I wash my car during a Minnesota winter?
Regular washing is a great way to keep your vehicle looking fresh throughout a Rosemount winter. A wash helps clear away the road salt, slush, and grime that collect during Minnesota driving.
What about bugs during the summer?
Summer brings its own opponent. Bugs can quickly collect across your hood, grille, headlights, and windshield. Regular washes help clear away that seasonal buildup and keep your ride looking game-day ready. Bar Down specifically plans to highlight bugs during summer and road salt and grime during winter.

What is a Bar Down Season Ticket Membership?
Think of it as your season ticket to a cleaner car. Instead of purchasing an individual wash each time you visit, members pay a recurring monthly fee for their selected wash plan and can wash throughout the month.
Why should I become a Season Ticket Member?
Season Ticket Members get more value and convenience from every month. Membership is designed to cost less than purchasing two comparable single washes, while also giving members access to special perks like the Breakaway lane.
It is an easy way to make keeping your vehicle clean part of your regular lineup.
How often can I wash with my membership?
Season Ticket Members may wash their registered vehicle up to once per day during normal business hours.
Can I use my membership for multiple vehicles?
No. Each standard membership is associated with a vehicle. If you have multiple vehicles in your household, check out our Family Plan for an easy way to bring more cars into the lineup.
How does Bar Down recognize my vehicle?
Bar Down plans to use a License Plate Recognition system. Your registered license plate identifies your membership when you arrive, helping create a quick and convenient member experience.
Do members get a special lane?
Yes. Season Ticket Members receive access to The Breakaway lane designed to make getting into the wash even more convenient.
How am I billed for my membership?
Memberships are recurring monthly plans. Your payment method on file will be used for automatic monthly billing.
How do I sign up for a membership?
You will be able to select your preferred wash membership online through Bar Down's purchasing portal. Membership options will also be available at the wash.
Can I manage my membership online?
Yes. The website will feature a clearly accessible Manage Membership option so members can manage their accounts online.
Can I change my license plate or vehicle?
Yes. Vehicle and membership information can be managed through the membership system.
Does Bar Down offer a Family Plan?
Yes. Bar Down plans to offer Family Plan savings so households with multiple vehicles can get more value from their memberships.
How does the Family Plan work?
Additional vehicles can be added under the same membership account, making it easier to keep multiple household vehicles clean.
Vehicle Guidelines
Are there vehicle restrictions?
Our goal is to provide a smooth, safe wash experience for our customers, teammates, and vehicles moving through the tunnel. Most standard cars, trucks, SUVs, and vans can enjoy the Bar Down wash. Certain vehicle sizes, accessories, and configurations may require approval from a teammate before entering.
Please use the following guidelines:
- Vehicles must be under 7 feet tall
- Vehicles must meet the tunnel's maximum width requirements
- Vehicles should have at least 5 inches of ground clearance
- Truck beds should be empty and clear of loose debris
- Vehicles with dual rear wheels may not enter the wash
- Ladders and ladder racks should be removed
- Rear-mounted bike racks and similar exterior racks should be removed
- Oversized or fixed exterior mirrors may require approval
- Aftermarket exterior accessories should be securely attached
- Vehicles with excessive mud or loose exterior materials may require approval before entering
Our teammates have final discretion when determining whether a vehicle can safely enter the wash.
What should I check before entering the wash?
A quick pre-game check helps get your vehicle ready for the tunnel. Before entering:
- Close all windows and sunroofs completely
- Secure or remove exterior accessories
- Lower or remove removable antennas when applicable
- Remove magnetic decals and other removable exterior items
- Secure truck-bed contents and remove loose items
- Make sure bike racks, cargo racks, and similar rear-mounted accessories are removed
- Follow all instructions provided by our teammates as you enter the wash
What about aftermarket accessories?
Vehicles with aftermarket accessories such as spoilers, bug shields, window visors, specialty antennas, exterior trim, magnetic accessories, or other non-factory-installed components should be reviewed before entering.
If you're unsure, ask a Bar Down teammate. We'll be happy to help determine whether your vehicle is ready to hit the wash lineup.
Can I wash a pickup truck?
Yes, standard pickup trucks that meet our tunnel dimensions can generally be washed. Truck beds should be empty and free of loose debris before entering the tunnel. Trucks with dual rear wheels, oversized dimensions, ladder racks, or certain exterior equipment may require additional review.
Can I wash a vehicle with a bike rack or cargo rack?
Rear-mounted bike racks, cargo racks, ladder racks, and similar exterior attachments should be removed before entering the wash.
Can I wash a convertible?
Hard-top and soft-top convertibles may be eligible for washing when the vehicle meets our tunnel guidelines. Make sure the roof is fully closed and secured before entering, and review your vehicle manufacturer's recommendations for automatic car washes.
